RSS feeds

Well, I've had a Google Reader account for quite some time, but I haven't been using it to read the latest posts. I was wondering why and then I looked at what I had subscribed to. A lot of the sites were job related, but not always the things that interested me the most. I've decided to do some house cleaning. I unsubscribed to a lot of the feeds I had previously subscribed to and added a few fun ones. I know that Google Reader is a great way to stay up to date. I have to admit though - there are just some sites I like going to. I think it's the ritual more than thinking about convenience. It's like visiting with a friend. But, I think being more targeted about my sites makes a lot of sense. I'll try a little experiment and really customize my google reader more and see if I use it. I can still go to my favourite sites for a visit.

    Hello Shelley,

    Thanks very much for going through my blogs and commenting. I do appreciate it. Plan to come for tomorrow's drop in, but before that must try to do the revised Google Docs instructions. And I also want to see how much I remember of ALL the previous assignments, so that I know what I know!!!

    Tried the new instructions on Google Docs - was not successful. Lets see if I am up to doing a review of all the assignments after a little break !!!
